Murder Victim's Dog Reunited With Family

On March 19, Julia Anderson was murdered in an act of domestic violence. There is no cure for the pain that her family feels, but the Louisiana Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (La-SPCA) took one small step to ease their pain. The group tracked down Anderson’s family in Missouri and returned the victim’s dog.

Second Dominos Driver Killed

For the second time in six months, a pizza delivery man was killed on the job. The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) is searching for the killer of a Dominos Pizza driver after the Tuesday (3.24) morning shooting in the Lower Ninth Ward.

Double Shooting in the East

On Saturday (3.22), there was another double shooting and another death in the East. The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) are now investigating the homicide at a familiar location, Dwyer Road.

Deadly Domestic Violence

On Thursday (3.20) night, an incident of domestic violence was deadly. The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) subsequently arrested 38-year-old Christopher Hutsell for the stabbing death of his girlfriend.

Durst Dispersed

New Orleanians will have to rely on HBO on demand for their Robert Durst fix. For the second time, the eccentric millionaire is being extradited from the Crescent City to stand trial for first degree murder.

Bye-Jinx: Durst Arrested Pending Extradition in NOLA

HBO and New Orleans just found another crossover. Shortly before the finale of the cable network’s documentary on Robert Durst, Durst was arrested in the Crescent City. An outstanding Los Angeles County warrant for murder resulted in Durst’s incarceration in OPP pending an extradition hearing.
