Suspect Confesses to Elysian Fields MurderZachary Carpenter was shot and killed on Friday, May 10, and homicide detectives arrested a man today that confessed to the killing. The men were standing in two groups outside an apartment building in the 2100 block of Allen Street, police said. The 15-year-old was rushed to the hospital, where he later died. Murder in LeonidasA man was found shot on a Leonidas neighborhood sidewalk, and later died at the hospital in New Orleans' latest murder. The 18-year-old man was shot multiple times shortly before 11 p.m. Monday, according to New Orleans police. He was found near the corner of Eagle and Birch Streets, police said. Police Search for Wounded Man in Gert Town Murder (VIDEO)New Orleans police are searching for a man involved in a Gert Town shooting that left a 21-year-old man dead Monday afternoon.The incident occurred in the 4100 block of Washington Avenue around 2:22 p.m., officials said.
