Mega Bust!

The MegaBus may be moving from the Marigny to the Union Passenger Terminal, but the line’s problems are far from over. Late Friday (8.21) afternoon, U.S. Attorney Kenneth Polite unsealed an indictment alleging that a drug trafficking ring has been using Mega Bus as transit.

Mega-Move for MegaBus

The MegaBus is a popular means of getting from city to city cheaply. However, the discount service has not been popular with residents of the Marigny. Since the company began operating from Elysian Fields in April 2011, locals have been campaigning to move the service to a proper terminal. On Tuesday (8.12), MegaBus announced that they will indeed move to an actual bus station.

Megabus Offers NOLA-Orlando Route

Megabus is heading for Sunshine (State), and Crescent City travelers bound for Florida will reap some of the benefits. The budget bus ride company is offering a new route from New Orleans to Orlando.
