Today in NOLA: 8.31.14

Decadence goes on parade! This afternoon’s romp through the French Quarter marks the culminating moment of New Orleans’ Labor Day Weekend gay festivities. Maze and Frankie Beverly bring a quiet storm to Lakefront Arena, and the Polyphonic Spree play Southport Hall. Maybe you’re just looking to chill out this evening—we got that covered, too. Check out the events for this long weekend:

Tonight, this year's PhotoNOLA continues from the Ogden to NOMA, local soul artists band together for Dragsonsmoke at Tipitina's, Maze feat. Frankie Beverly is at the Saenger, and the Pfister Sisters are performing at NOMA. The Bonnet Carre Spillway was dedicated on December 13, 1950. Now, more to do this Friday.
