Community Rallies For Slain Domino's Driver Tonight

By Justin Lang

When tragedy befell pizza delivery driver Michael Price, his family was left in its murderous wake.  Locals quickly set about garnering aid for Price’s wife and three children so that the family would not have to face this misfortune alone. Soon after Michael Price’s murder was reported, a gofundme.com page was created by concerned local James "Jimmy" Delery. It has already accumulated over $35,000 for Price's family. Not ready to stop there, Delery also organized a fundraiser Thursday (4.09) to raise more funds for the family.

Airlift Transforms Church for Nels Cline & Rob Cambre

The altar installation is made of about 30 or so analog televisions donated by Goodwill and rewired to interpret sound. Saturday’s show marks Airlift’s second concert in collaboration with Creative Alliance of New Orleans (CANO), who now manages the property and has linked up with Prospect 3 to expose the charm of the church to the community.
