Today in NOLA 8.5.17

Today, celebrate International Sailor Moon Day with Kawaii NOLA and Krewe du Moon. Contemporary Arts Center hosts the annual White Linen Night, while the Ogden kicks off the statewide exhibition on contemporary art. The great Wanda Jackson will take the stage at Tip's. On this day in 1984, NOLA-born rhythm and blues pianist Tuts Washington passed away while performing at the World's Fair in New Orleans. Now, more to do this Saturday.
