State of Undress: 3.25-2.27

Guess what's up kittens? Tigger! is in town! What does that mean for you? Well on top of seeing him grace the stages of the Gravier St. Social (Whiskey and Rhinestones, Thursday at 10p.m.) and Bourbon Pub and Parade (The Blue Book Cabaret, Saturday at 10p.m.), Tigger! will be teaching two knowledge and pizazz packed classes at the New Orleans School Of Burlesque.

Today in NOLA: 2.23.16

Catch a trio of local favorites tonight. Kermit is at Bullet’s. Lynn Drury is at Chickie Wah Wah, and Rebirth is at the Leaf. Or get you some groceries Uptown. An illuminated bicycle parade rolled during Carnival on this day in 1887. Now, more things to do as you start your week.

State of Undress: 2.17-2.21

By Angie Z.

My goodness, Kitties! Your calendar grows thicker and more luxurious every week! I hope you are rested up and ready for action, because we have some wonderful visitors from Minneapolis, Foxy Tann and RedBone. Both are veterans of the Burlesque Hall of Fame and are packing a whole lotta sass. Foxy Tann, or "The Boss Of Burlesque," will be in tow with her enowned "Hardcore Pasties" and over a decade of experience and knowledge. She has worn every hat you can think of in the burlesque and performing arts field and has been called a pioneer in the Neo-Burlesque movement.

State of Undress: Valentine's Edition

Hey there kittens! Congratulations on surviving Mardis Gras! Did you miss me? WE HAVE SO MUCH TO TALK ABOUT!

This Carnival season debuted a brand new troupe, The Foxglove Revue,  from Bella Blue. Blue reigned as Unicorn Queen in the Mystic Krewe of PUEWC, and was also voted the number 8 performer in the world by "21st Century Burlesque". Our very own Charlotte Truese also emerged onto the list at  number 46.
