Today in NOLA/Jazz Fest After Hours: 4.29.16

Jazz Fest is hitting overdrive today. After the Fairgrounds spill out, the music is just starting. Everyone from Warren Haynes to the Funky Meters are playing this evening. Happy Birthday to Master P, local rapper and label founder who makes 43 today. Now, more to do this Friday.

Paying Tribute

Jazz Fest brings the top tier of the music world to the Crescent City. However, many of the big acts don’t even play at the Fair Grounds. Night shows featuring The Roots and an all-star tribute to The Band’s legendary “The Last Waltz” concert were announced today.
