NOPD Searches for Two Runaway Juveniles


The New Orleans Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in locating a 10-year-old boy and a 13-year-old boy, who went missing this week in unrelated incidents.

The Major Offense Log (MOL) for Thursday (4.28) included two sexual assaults of minors, two unclassified deaths, a homicide, a non fatal shooting, a stabbing, and two armed robberies according to the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD).

The respite from crime is over. The Major Offense Log (MOL) for Sunday (4.24) included nine incidents including a homicide, a juvenile rape, armed robberies, and shootings according to the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD).


Mannie Fresh Talks New Album with Weezy and Juvenile


L’il Wayne has a history of distancing himself from his native New Orleans. He even rooted for the Falcon against the Saints in 2009. However, it seems like he has been feeling the love ever since the Hot Boyz reunion at his L’il Weezyana fest this summer. Now, Weezy is talking to Mannie Fresh and Juvenile about jointly putting together a new album.


Police Search For Runaway


A teenage girl left her mother a note and then ran away from her Mid-City home according to the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD). Now, the Department is reaching out to the public for help in the search for 14-year-old Dabne Gutierrez.


NOPD Seek Missing MidCity Teen


Police are once again looking for a missing juvenile. The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) is looking for a MidCity teen who has not been seen for two days.

Rain or shine, New Orleans' Lundi Gras celebrations are happening tonight from St. Charles to St. Claude. Dropkick Murphy's are at House of Blues, and Johnny Sketch and the Dirty Notes are performing Uptown at Prytania Bar. On this day in 1995, LSU mascot IV was put down after 20 years and 9 months, 14 of which were spent representing Louisiana State University. UPDATED: Teenagers Arrested for Armed Robberies

Four juveniles have been arrested for a pair of armed robberies in the CBD. The wanted kids are ages 13-16. There is a fifth, unidentified suspect, pictured to the right.

Meanwhile, local hip-hop greats-turned mainstream, Juvenile and Mystikal, are also releasing their latest collaboration.
