Southern Rep Announces New Theatre



After a few years in diaspora, Southern Rep will once again have a home. On Thursday (2.19), the local theatre company along with Rose Community Development Corporation and Alembic Community Development announced that the vacant St. Rose de Lima Church (2545 Bayou Road) in Mid-City will renovated into a performing arts center for Southern Rep.

Tigers Welcome USC to their Den



After the Federal Flood, LSU had to cancel their opener against North Texas and move their Week Two home game against Arizona State University to Tempe. The Tigers did not forgot the experience. After flooding ravaged South Carolina, USC announced that the Gamecocks will have to play a “home game” in Baton Rouge on Saturday (10.10). LSU responded by rolling out the purple carpet.
