Tulane's Green Wave Breaks Into New Conference Tonight

Tulane hoops tip off tonight. This season marks the Green Wave’s debut in a new conference, the American Athletic Conference (AAC.) The AAC was formed in 2013 after the so-called "Catholic 7" schools departed the Big East. meaning that Tulane will be facing some tough opponents. Fans can look forward to home games against conference foes Memphis, Cincinnati and reigning National Champion, UConn.

Roads Close as Tulane's Yulman Opens

It's no Mardi Gras, but uptown is going to see some traffic disruptions on Saturday (9.6) when Tulane's Yulman Stadium officially opens. The City has issued a set of reminders and guidelines for road closures, parking regulations, and all the other hoopla accompanying the sold-out opener.

Tulane University Reaches Out to Safety Devon Walker

The Green Wave is lifting up Tulane Safety Decon Walker, the Tulane University football player who sustained a severe spinal cervicle fracture after a head-to-head collision during Saturday's game in Tulsa, Okla., as continues to recover. St. Francis Hospital in Tusla reported that Walker is with his family by his side. The Destrehan is alert and responsive and the medical staff is doing everything possible to ensure him and his famliy are comfortable.
