Similar Pairs of Robberies in French Quarter, Marigny-Bywater Leave 1 Shot


Though New Years celebrations did not appear to feature any violent gunfire in crowded areas, the first weekend of 2012 was not entirely without incident. Two separate pairs of robberies were reported in the CBD and Marigny-Bywater between Saturday and Sunday. In one of the Bywater incidents, a man suffered a graze gunshot wound to the head, according to NOPD reports. Click through for details.
