Do you still have pile of unwashed clothes from White Linen Night sitting under your bed? Fear not! Saturday (8.08) is Dirty Linen Night an evening to celebrate art in the Quarter whilst indulging in a soiled sartorial sensibility.  

Bright Night: White Linen Guide

By now, you probably have your white linen outfit picked out and ready-to-go. But have you already mapped out your Whitney White Linen Night plan of attack? With attendance numbers nearing the 50,000 mark, this Saturday’s (8.1) event will be packed. You might want to decide ahead of time which galleries to check out and which restaurants are worth the wait. If you haven’t already figured all this out, don’t fear! NoDef has put together a comprehensive guide so that you can be totally prepared when the big night arrives. 

Third Thursday

Lower Royal Galleries Launch Their Own Art Walk

Julia Street has art walks on the first Saturday of the month, and St. Claude has the second Saturday. Now, the Royal Street galleries are introducing a monthly art walk of their own: Third Thursday. As the name suggests, the Quarter galleries will be straying open late and offering some lagniappe to culture crawlers on the third Thursday of each month beginning tomorrow (9.18).

Filthy Linen Night

Frenchmen Stages Hipper Art Crawl Replete with Free PBR

If you haven’t gotten around to your laundry lately, don’t worry. In fact, go head and air out those threads because tonight (8.23), the second annual Filthy Linen Night hits Frenchman Street and the Marigny. Following, Julia Street’s White Linen Night and the Quarter’s Dirty Linen night, FLN provides an emerging scene with a funkier art crawl, replete with free PBR.
