A Mink and a SmileThree Decades of Blackglama Ad Campaign Revisited at the Ogden Since the '30s, fur fashions have come to epitomize glamour, fame and fortune. Certainly Liz Taylor wouldn’t look like queen of the animal kingdom without her fox wraps, mink coats or rabbit hats more fit for Moscow than the movies. No one can deny the transformative effect of a good fur coat, elevating reasonable good looks into the regal realm. Rodents on the Runway A penchant for gutters and their Pan-American expat status seemed to leave the nutria destined to rise to the pinnacle of hip. Now, they've made their way to the epicenter -- Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The style section of the New York Times reports what our own fashionistas already know: the orange-toothed rodents are the eco-friendly answer to wearing fur. A runway date is also in the offing. We can only hope this doesn't open the floodgates for export, as the Apple-to-Crescent pipeline seems better left on a one-way track. Still, visions of BP oil scented perfume suddenly don't seem exaggerated. Hooters Bares Legs for Gulf At NoDef, we only read Playboy for the articles, and we only go to Hooters because of the, uh, wings. Yeah, the wings! We would never think about a waitress taking off her pantyhose... unless she was removing her leggings to fight the Big Oozy! And, that is exactly what is happening at Hooters where Project Pantyhose is expecting to collect 100,000 pairs of pantyhose for boom-building from Hooters Girls.
