Tujague's Draws Tales Appeal: Letter

Tujague's Not T-Shirts has become a rallying cry around New Orleans lately, as the recent death of longtime manager Steven Latter has left a question mark around the famed French Quarter eatery's future. Latter's son Mark, currently runs the restaurant, which was opened on Decatur St. in 1856. Latter's brother, Stanford Latter, owns the building. Rumors are circulating that Stanford Latter has plans to sell the building and turn it into a T-shirt shop and fried chicken joint. Like many New Orleanians, Tales of the Cocktail's Ann Tuennerman doesn't want to see that happen. Click through for her thoughts.
