Today (3.13), members of the French Quarter business and residential communities will meet to discuss New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu’s proposed $40 million security plan.

Vieux Carre residents vanquished a plan Saturday that would've enlisted a private company to provide increased security in the historic neighborhood.
