Spring Lineup for Wednesday at the Square Drops

The next week of Carnival is sure to be a blur, but after the bleachers at Lafayette Square come down, a stage will go up. The Young Leadership Council (YLC) Wednesdays at the Square series is slated to return March 2nd. Today, organizers revealed the season’s schedule.

Today in NOLA: 7.01.15

Before the holiday, check out some music. Wednesdays on the Point is getting rolling and North Carolina’s Mipsho is in town. Hometown heroes are playing a regular gig in the Treme and Uptown, it’s poetry night. On this day in 1912, Louisiana officially adopted the pelican flag.
