And Finale!

Faux/Real Fest's Final Weekend

Hungry for the arts? With almost 40 oerformances at the Faux/Real Festival of the Arts this wekeend, you're in luck. Whether you're looking for some serious ideology or just want to laugh, the fest has a few options. NoDef runs through your choices for the weekend.

Trying Solo

Prepare the opera glasses! The Faux/Real Festival of Arts is rolling into a final weekend with a bang. Not only are several productions wrapping up their three week runs, but several new shows have opened. Many of these premiers are solo performances found within one of Faux/Real's sub-fests, the Razor’s Edge.

Later Gator

Pitmaster Damian Brugger grew up on barbecue in Texas. Since his childhood, he has smoked just about everything. At Black Label Icehouse, he focuses on Texas classics like brisket and barbecue staples like pulled pork. At events like Hogs For The Cause, he has been known to get funky, even tossing crawfish into the smoker. However, tonight (11.17), Brugger is exploring some uncharted territory: the whole, smoked alligator.

Real Big
