NOLA Landlord Settles in Federal Housing Discrimination Suit A local landlord will have to turn over $70,000 to settle a housing discrimination suit with the feds and a local fair housing group. Betty Bouchon, 86, allegedly discriminated against African Americans who were trying to rent apartments at her 16-unit complex at 4905 and 4916 Canal St.
