October in New Orleans.  Is there anything sexier?  Breezy, but still balmy, the air redolent with smells of hot glue and last year’s dusty costumes, dragged out from their closeted confines to be mined for spare parts, or resurrected with a fresh coat of gold spray paint.  That’s right, loves: Halloween, the unofficial holiday of burlesque.
