DJ Soul Sister Hosts Right-On Skating Situation Friday Night The name of DJ Soul Sister's latest crate-digging extravaganza - and first ever benefit - is "Bounce Rock Roll Skate," but don't expect any twerkin' Friday night in Metairie at the Airline Skate Center. Soul Sister took the name of the event, which benefits Hagar's House, from the Vaughn Mason and Crew song of the same name, not the early 90s hip-hop form. Soul Sister ensures NoDef that she loves Bounce music, but she's using the roller skating event as a chance to showcase "skating, classic and rare vintage roller disco-era funk and soul music mixed live by pre-Katrina New Orleans resident (and Soul Sister's favorite) the Dynamite DJ Dave Soul."
