All the Single Ladies will be strutting their stuff this afternoon for their 20th annual second line. For those looking for a respite from French Quarter festing, the Single Ladies Social Aid & Pleasure Club are ready for their annual parade through Central City.

Don't let the clouds fool you — today is the perfect day for a second line. There are two lined up today, with the Kids Nation and the Keep N It Real Social Aide & Pleasure Clubs set to parade through the 6th and 7th Wards that begins by the banks of Bayou St. John.

Get set for the rare Mid-City second line today. The New Orleans Bayou Steppers Social Aid & Pleasure Club are ready to strut in their Parade For Peace Saturday (5.29) afternoon.


Second Line Alert: Money Wasters Social Aid & Pleasure Club


The weekly second schedule rolls back downtown on Sunday, as the Money Wasters Club are set to flash their disregard for cash all over Treme. The parade starts 1 p.m. under the Bridge at Charbonnet-Labat Funeral Home. Click through for the route.

It’s never too early to start thinking about Mardi Gras. In fact, Zulu is already looking towards fat Tuesday. The storied krewe’s 107th Anniversary Parade rolls through the Treme and Seventh Ward today as candidates compete for coveted spots on the big day.
