In the last 24 hours, the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) responded to two unclassified deaths, a rape, and two arguments that devolved into stabbings according to the Major Offense Log (MOL) for Thursday (5.12).

In the lat 24 hours, cops responded to two unclassified deaths, two sexual assaults, three cuttings, a non-fatal shooting, a botched mugging, and a home invasion according to the Major Offense Log (MOL) for Monday (5.09) from the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD).

Only four crimes were reported in the Major Offense Log (MOL) for Sunday (5.08). The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) responded to two Armed Robberies and a pair of stabbings.

The Major Offense Log (MOL) for Monday (3.07) listed four shooting incidents, two stabbings, and a stickup according to the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD).

On Thursday (1.21), the New Orlean Police Department (NOPD) responded to the rape of a child, two stabbings, and an armed robbery according to the Department’s Major Offense Log.


Bloody Sunday in the Quarters


The Quarters were a dangerous place on Sunday (7.02) with three violent crimes spread across the Viex Carré and the Marigny. The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) reported a shooting on Bourbon, a cutting on Iberville, and a mugging on Decatur.


Man Wanted for Cutting


A man wanted for cutting another man is on the loose, according to NOPD. On Saturday morning around 6:30 a.m., the suspect, known as “Bill” or “Billy”, was fighting with the victim in the 400 block of Esplanade Avenue.


MidCity Mayhem: Aggravated Cutting on Yule Eve


Holiday cheer turned bloody on Christmas Eve in MidCity. At 1:18 AM, New Orleans Police responded to an Aggravated Battery by Cutting on the normally placid 2800 block of Bell Street. What began as a derigeur holiday argument between two individuals became violent, when one party unsatisfied with rhetoric alone, grabbed a knife.
