Little Freddie King's Neighborhood Gig MARIGNY TRIANGLE- Little Freddie King is New Orleans Blues royalty, but seeking an audience with the King's Court ain't always easy. However, tonight, the legend gets local with a free gig at Iggy's. The small corner institution has pulled out the pool table and put on their party hats to make way for the Man and his Guitar. Fun starts at ten. NoDef will be there. (Touro & North Rampart.) At the Square By Laura Cayouette Dr. John will be playing this week's Harvest the Music benefitting Second Harvest, Wednesday the 6th at 5pm at Lafayette Square. Last week's concert featured Rebirth Brass Band. The huge crowd was packed Jazz Fest-style into the small urban park on one of the most wonderful weather days of the year. The indomitable elements were against Lightning Bolt Thursday night. The calendar date being July 8, and the geographic location being New Orleans, gig goers were insured a bath in the sweat pouring from their own person, and the person pressed up against them.
