Michelle Obama's French Quarter Fantasy Apparently the shrimp po-boy from Parkway has stayed with Michelle Obama long past that rainy August day in 2010. During a CBS Sunday Morning interview with the first lady and President Barack Obama that aired today, Michelle Obama told Charlie Rose that her vacation daydreams included visions of the Quarters. "...The truth is, New Orleans," she said while responding to prodding from Rose about what destinations top her getaway bucket list.
