by Christopher Romaguera

When musician Antoine Reynaldo Diel first read the reports coming out of the Philippines about the devastation caused by massive Typhoon Haiyan, he immediately started trying to think of ways to help. As he put it, “Since as a musician, we don’t have much funds ourselves, we can only donate so much...so I just wanted to find a way that I could make an impact and at the same time, do what I do.” So Antoine contacted Cheryl Abana-Emmer of The Spotted Cat Music Club, and the two set up “New Orleans for the Philippines: A Benefit Concert.”
