New Orleans Bowl Teams Announced

It’s Bowl Season again. While most eyes are focused on the college football playoffs, locals know that there is another big game in da Dome. LSU v. Miss St. Plotlines

After last week’s LSU rainout, the Louisiana football faithful will be treated to two openers this weekend. The Tigers are one of the SEC’s biggest mysteries in 2015. There will be lots to watch including Leonard Fournette, a pair of high school rivals, and of course, the Mad Hatter.

For weeks, Saturday’s game at Tiger Stadium has been billed as the “real home opener.” The 34-29 result bodes poorly for the remainder of the season. Despite a late surge to make score close, LSU was thoroughly outplayed. More worrisome, a resounding exclamation point was placed on the quarterback controversy.Leonard Fournette was not a factor, but Josh Robinson certainly was. Les Miles and Cam Cameron left only questions but Mississippi State’s Dan Mullen answered them all.
