Today's Events: 12.28.11 Tonight, the City continues to roll towards New Year's Eve and Carnival season with ??? and a lot of brass. Historically speaking, there was a lot of brass on display in 1862, when Union troops had the gall to burn the old state capitol to the ground. It would be nearly 70 years to the day before Huey P. Long began construction on our current HQ, a building befitting the state. However, let's go back to the future for some events tonight.
