City Park Drops "Thursdays at Twilight" Lineup


As Fest Season enters the final leg, New Orleans is looking ahead to the popular outdoor concerts that provide our weekly dose of live music. Today, City park dropped the lineup for their “Thursdays at Twilight” series. Bruce Daigrepont, John Boutté, and the Pfister Sisters are just a few of the familiar names on the roster.

Earth Day Look at Scenic City Park (Photos)



New Orleans' Earth Day celebrations will culminate at City Park today, April 22. Photographer Rachel June captures some of the park's natural delights, from rich Spanish moss, to towering oak trees, to ducks searching for stale bread.  


City Park Hosts Public Mtg. on Master Plan


The public is invited to the Botanical Gardens tomorrow, but there will be no wine, light displays or live music. City Park is hosting a public hearing on amendments to their Master Plan, and they will be discussing a new spot for their Splash Park, nixing a new catering building and ball diamond, and more.
