Bayou St. John Butchers Offer Their Black and Gold Season Predictions

For years now, the owners of Terranova's Supermarket have been making predictions on the seasonal performance of our beloved Saints and more often than not, they're pretty accurate. NOLA Defender had a chance to sit down with Benjamin "Benny" Terranova, owner of the market/butcher shop, to discuss the nature of his predictions and of course - how he thinks the Saints will do in the 2012-13 season.

Butcher Block Saints Predictions at Terranova's Grocery

by Shay Sokol

FAUBOURG ST. JOHN - Pre-season is over, and the wizard butchers at Terranova’s Supermarket in Faubourg St. John are ready to cast their annual prediction of the Saints’ season record. The plans may be set for Kid Rock's performance at Lambeau. But, around here, the official start to football happens when Benjamin “Benny” Terranova, owner of the family-owned grocery at 3308 Esplanade Ave. hangs his predictions above the butchery in the back. He's done so for the past ten years, with impressive accuracy.
