NoDef Speakeasy Returns! by Leon Perniciaro After a long weekend of festing, the brain could use a defibrilator's jolt on this Monday morning. Luckily, the NoDef Speakeasy has returned to provide a look at some of this week's lectures, panels, readings and other cranial events. This week, Cubano artists arrive on U.S. shores and head straight to Xavier, Tulane celebrates Equal Pay Day and a futuristic New Orleans is finally the subject of a science fiction plot. Today's Events: 4.16.12 Today, the bubblegum punk pop group Hunx and his Punx take the stage at Siberia, while Dick Dale brings the original surf rock mastery to the Howlin' Wolf, and Professor Bart Moore-Gilbert from Goldsmith College at the University of London does lectures on "Postcolonialism, Terrorism and the Sacred." at Tulane.
