Armina Mussa Talks About April Stabbing



On April 8, Armina Mussa was stabbed ten times. As the victim underwent surgeries in a battle for her life, the story exploded in the press on account of Mussa’s business partnership and friendship with Solange Knowles. Most reports at the time cited her alleged attacker’s version of the bloody incident. Mussa was in critical condition and providing a rebuttal was the least of her concerns. Last week, she sat down with NOLA Defender to set the record straight.

NOPD is looking for suspects in a pair of recent brazen crimes. A group of three people attacked a man in the CBD last weekend, and police released photos of three people wanted for questioning. This week, a man robbed an Uptown home in the middle of the day.

New Orleans police are seeking the public’s help in identifying three suspects allegedly involved in a Sunday morning fight outside a Marigny bar. A witness said he saw a group of three or four men standing at the corner of Chartres and Marigny streets, outside The Friendly Bar around 4:45 a.m., officials said.
