The Saints game has been moved to a 3:00p.m. start time. That means there is plenty of time to get out and do some buck-jumping before kickoff. In Treme, the Dumaine Street Gang traverses the avenues, from Claiborne to St. Bernard to St. Claude to A.P Tureaud. In Algiers, the Westbank Steppers are ready to host the rare parade across the river. Click through for more details and maps:

Happy Saturday! Today in New Orleans, see the Saint Nick Secondline at the St. Nicholas Day Fair, or head to Algiers for their riverfront holiday celebration. West Bank Bank Heist

During the golden era of Hollywood South, New Orleans was the setting for several bank heist movies. However, on Friday (7.31), First Bank and Trust (550 General DeGaulle Drive) on the West Bank was the scene of a real life bank robbery. According to authorities, the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) quickly cracked the caper and apprehended a suspect.

Shoplifting to the Maxx

T.J. Maxx advertises their low prices on clothing, but free is the only price that will suffice for some. Alas, the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) says that taking apparel without paying for it is actually called, “shoplifting.” The boys in blue are on the search for a 36-year-old who they suspect of stealing from the store.
