A tragic fire in Broadmoor Nov 11 caused the deaths of five family members - two adult females, two young girls ages 12 and 7, along with their 11 year old brother. The two story, wood-frame, single family dwelling engulfed in flames around midnight. The New Orleans Fire Department (NOFD) dispatched at 12:16a.m., one minute after receiving several 911 calls about the possibility of people trapped inside the house on the corner of S. Miro and General Pershing and arrived on the scene at 12:20a.m.
