On Wednesday (3.1), the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) responded to three cases of aggravated battery (two by cutting, one by shooting), one armed robbery, one attempted armed robbery, a simple robbery, and one homicide according to the Major Offense Log (MOL).

The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) only had to respond to five incidents in the last 24 hours according to the Major Offense Log (MOL). The MOL contained an unclassified death, two cuttings, and two muggings.

In the lat 24 hours, cops responded to two unclassified deaths, two sexual assaults, three cuttings, a non-fatal shooting, a botched mugging, and a home invasion according to the Major Offense Log (MOL) for Monday (5.09) from the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD).

On Monday (4.04), the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) four rapes, five aggravated batteries, a suicide, and stickup at the Family Dollar Store according to the Major Offense Log (MOL).

The Major Offense Log (MOL) for Monday (3.07) listed four shooting incidents, two stabbings, and a stickup according to the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD).


Politician Gary Landrieu Arrested for Aggravated Battery


Gary Landrieu (D) recently lost the District 2 Congressional election to incumbent Cedric Richmond, a career shakeup that pales in comparison to the politician’s arrest this morning. The 54-year-old son of former School Board member Phyllis Landrieu and cousin of Mayor Mitch is currently being held at the Seventh District Police Station (10101 Dwyer Road) on charges of Aggravated Battery.
