Aquatic spectators looking to release their inner child without children around have an opportunity this weekend. On Friday September 13th, the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas hosts its fifth annual event Scale & Ales, benefitting their education and conservation efforts.  With music, 35 restaurants, a long list of Abita beer to taste, as well as wine and specialty cocktails set up throughout the Aquarium and outside on the lawn of Woldenberg Park.

Abita Rolling Out 5 New Beers

Abita Brewing is releasing a new seasonal beer, Seersucker Summer Pils, this week, but is also planning to release several specialty beers in 22 ounce bottles in coming months to appeal to the palates of craft beer drinkers.  These beers will include Strawgator, Imperial Stout, Baltic Porter, and Imperator.
