Voodoo Drops 2017 Lineup


We’re barely into the summer season, but folks looking for some sweet relief from the heat can turn their attention to the fall. On Tuesday morning, the Voodoo Music + Arts Experience revealed their lineup for the Halloween weekend (10.27-10.29) fete. Kendrick Lamar, Foo Fighters, The Killers, LCD Soundsystem, and DJ Snake are just a few of the big names on the 2017 roster. 


Pre-Jazz Fest Show Threadhead Thursday Drops 2017 Lineup


Threadhead Cultural Foundation, a fan-funded arts non-profit company formed out of the love for New Orleans and its culture, just announced the lineup for its annual free fest in City Park. The concert, taking place on the Robert B. Haspel Outdoor Garden Stage in the park's botanical garden, will happen on April 27th from 6PM-10PM. 


Shorty Fest Reveals 2017 Lineup


Trombone Shorty's fifth annual Shorty Fest, benefitting his namesake foundation, announced its lineup today. New Orleans favorite son Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews has invited a number of his musical friends to take the stage at House of Blues on May 4, 2017.

Details & Routes for St. Patrick’s Day Festivities



If Carnival came and went too fast for you, you're in luck. St. Patrick's Day provides a mini-season of parades and partying to scratch your itch. In the Quarter, Jim Monaghan’s St. Patrick’s Day rolls for the 35th time and the Downtown Irish Club Parade, an old school classic, will march from Bywater into the Quarter. Uptown, expect a raucous time at the Irish Channel Parade. Plus, there will be block parties galore. Details and routes follow. 


Bayou Boogaloo Drops 2017 Lineup


Between this weekend's Sacred Music Festival and BUKU Fest, and the fast-approaching French Quarter Fest and Jazz Fest, the outdoor music season is well underway in New Orleans. Today, the organizers behind the annual Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo announced their lineup for their free fest from May 19th through May 21st.
