Route, Weather for Crescent City Classic


After all the Good Friday crawfish is digested, the Crescent City Classic is set to get New Orleanians sweating in the streets to get them hungry for Easter Sunday. To make way for the thousands of runners that will head out for the 39th annual 10K, the City is shutting down streets from the French Quarter to City Park.

The Crescent City Classic is one of the few races that does not discourage drinking or walking. However, the annual 10k is still a respected destination on the running circuit and pros come to compete. Saturday’s (4.04) race provided a thrilling finish for the serious sprinters.
