New Orleans Reaches 400th Shooting Victim This Year


New Orleans saw a short respite from gun-related violence earlier this month, but unfortunately the city’s crime problem rages on. Jeff Asher, local crime analyst and the man behind NOLA Crime News, noted that two shootings yesterday mark New Orleans’ 400th gun-related victim in 2017 — the fastest the city has reached this bleak milestone in the past seven years.
